Experimental Film: Wolfen NC400

I tried my hand at a roll of Wolfen NC400, 35mm color negative film. it came in a 36 exposure roll and to be honest, i shot 35mm so infrequently that I forgot what roll was in the camera after the 10th exposure. I did not expect much of anything Nor did I really shoot with any intention. That being said at least one shot from the roll seemed to be a happy accident that made the purchase worthwhile. The film itself isn’t what I would consider high quality The white balance seemed to favor blues and was all around very cool color temperature. I had to do more post processing than I liked for some images but after deciding to just lean into it I would consider this film a nice one to shoot if you are simply looking to experiment. I don’t normally shoot for a “retro” or “Vintage” look, but this film, with its color imperfections and flares does seem to lend itself to that style very nicely. Though I would not buy this again, I think some may find a use for it.
