Branding Photos

Kate, owner of Crescent Trail Pilates was looking for a range of marketing photos as well as some photographs for her website and social media posts. Kate’s caring and all around positive attitude was something that immediately stood out to me. The resulting photos were a genuine and honest look at Kate and her students interacting the beautiful studio!
Technical Photography
I am no stranger to construction sites, cleanroom environments, and tight spaces. I work regularly with NASA Goddard Space Center documenting new spacecraft as they are built , integrated, and tested. I hold cleanroom and ESD certifications and am trained to work in confined spaces and in fall protection areas. One of my favorite things to photograph at NASA are the people doing what they do best. The passion everyone has for their mission is something you simply cannot fake.
Marketing & Communications
I worked at The National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) for about 2 years. During that time I learned American Sign Language on the job to interact with students, staff, and faculty. I am grateful for each of the friendships I made in the deaf community and during this time I photographed for a wide variety of events. Theatre shows, Conferences, workshops, lectures, summer camps, sporting events, and more! The campus life always had something going on and I was always ready to photograph it. Working closely with the communications and marketing department we managed to produce a wide variety of photographic material.
Event Photography
Any event, any size, I have photographed it all. Speaking engagements, Corporate Parties, Improv shows, theatre events etc. If it involves a grand stage, or just an intimate group of friends, I am here to document it all - the action, the reactions, and the interactions.
Sporting events
The Marine Corps Trials are an annual Paralympic-style competitive event featuring sports adapted to the individual capabilities of the wounded warrior athletes from the Marine Corps. It was an honor to work with so many inspirational people, competing on such a variety of sporting events. I have also been fortunate enough to photograph the Army Navy Football game in Annapolis Maryland.
Military Ceremonies
While serving for over four years as an enlisted U.S. Marine Corps Combat Cameraman, I documented countless military events and ceremonies. Retirement ceremonies, Evening Parades, The Marine Corps Band, dozens of change of commands, and a Medal of Honor Ceremony. My time and experiences contributing to the historical archive of the U.S. Marine Corps was some of the most influential on my artistic practice. As a combat cameraman we adhered to the strictest journalistic standards and practices, ensuring every photograph told the story of the events truthfully and objectively.
