Alternative Wedding in Frederick, Md

I love unconventional weddings

I see more and more people asking me about non traditional or alternative weddings. I welcome requests for small or alternative weddings, they are always a joy to photograph. I am always in favor of bucking tradition; Intimate ceremonies, courthouse vows, elopements, micro-weddings, and celebrations that blend traditions or happen across multiple days are all fully in my wheelhouse. I tailor coverage to your needs, focusing on genuine moments, meaningful details, and the atmosphere that makes your day unique.

If your plans are unconventional, scaled-down, spread out over separate events, or just downright weird (<3), I’ll work with you to create a relaxed timeline, clear package options, and images that tell your complete story.

Multi-day event? No problem!

Recently I photographed a couple across a few different days. First for their engagement, then they wanted an intimate courthouse ceremony with some photos of them together at a nearby scenic park. This was followed on a later day by a reception that included beautiful Ethiopian wedding elements. It’s honestly a wonderful example of how small, multi-part celebrations can be both deeply personal and richly photographic. Check out some of the highlights below.
