It's funny... The negative looks wrong to our eye, it's unnatural, and yet in a way, it's a more accurate depiction than the print. The print is processed, dodged, burned, cropped, the negative is the more authentic of the two, and yet....

"Post Truth"

I've been doing a lot of thinking on the nature of authenticity lately, and how it relates to analog photography versus digital photography... Especially now with the advent of ai generated imagery. Though photography is a coi
